The importance of youths in the electoral process cannot be overemphasized. According to UNFPA, the highest proportions of the Nigerian population by age group are 0-14 and 10-25.
Given this fact, it is critical to engage young people in the electoral process, as voters, election officials, election observers, and so on. To promote the participation of youths in the electoral process, we carry out trainings to build the knowledge of young people and raise their civic consciousness.
One of these trainings was conducted virtually between August and October, on the topic of Democracy and the Electoral Processes in Nigeria.
